One minute he’s dealing with legislators, foreign delegates, and surgeons from around the world. The next minute he’s working with some of medicine’s finest cardiologists and a renowned Surgery Research Team. And, as if being the Center Administrator for the ECU Brody School of Medicine’s Minimally Invasive Surgical & Robotic Center of Excellence wasn’t enough, Jerome Fuller enjoys Greenville living with surgical precision . He grew up in Pittsburgh’s inner city in a place know as The Hill District, but his parents’ influence and his college experience made him want more out of life. During college, Fuller worked for a national cheerleading company that sent him across the nation teaching gymnastics. He visited East Carolina University in 1993, decided to move here where he later met his wife.
The couple thinks Greenville is a safe, friendly place to raise their two children . Fuller has discovered an inviting community for active young couples and sports enthusiasts. It’s a town, notes Jerome, where southern hospitality still has strong value and meaning. The Center Administrator enjoys being in the center of it, too..
"Greenville provides the atmosphere for good, clean activities that everyone in the family, no matter the age, can enjoy. It’s also a great environment for professionals, and the Robotics Training Center attracts the attention of surgeons locally, nationally and internationally."
